Delivery

Metro Halifax area orders are desktop delivered next day by Basin vehicles.

Same day delivery is available upon request.

Outside metro orders received by 3:00 p.m. will be shipped that day via courier, for next day delivery.

Rush orders will be shipped by 1:30 p.m. or can be arranged on an "as required" basis.

Note** Pick-up orders are available within ½ hour of placement. There is no charge for regular delivery and no minimum order. Backorders are shipped as soon as product becomes available.

Catalogue

Standard supply catalogue is updated on a yearly basis in November. The catalogue (link)contains approx 7000 items, our catalogue is available on our web site and this information is updated on a regular basis. Basin also has available a "special order" catalogue that features 25,000 SKUs. Custom products are sourced as required. Basin has developed an expertise in delivering customized goods and services to satisfy "out of the box" client needs.

Flyer

Basin has a Flyer Program(link) which consists of 12 monthly flyers, with additional special flyers. The flyers also introduce new products in the marketplace to our customers.

Basin always adheres to the "best buy" logic. Should a product appear on promotion, our computer system automatically converts to the lowest price.

Payment

Invoices are supplied with orders and itemized statements are sent monthly. Invoices and statements are also made available to online users. Basin is flexible to our client needs for invoicing and reporting purposes. We would be pleased to discuss and design billing and payment systems to fit your requirements. Activity reports are provided as needed. Usage reports are customized to your needs.

Payment terms are NET 30 days from the date of the invoice. Interest is charged at a rate of 18% per annum (1.5% per month) on amounts over 30 days. Payments are accepted by: Cash, Cheque, Visa, MasterCard, Debit Card, American Express and e-Pay.

Standard fill rate is 97% plus. This figure is based on standard stocked items. Backorders are shipped next day from receipt of stock and are not held for batching.
